Hey Beauties, this week we are going to discuss DIY skincare products that are fun and most items can be found right in your kitchen! Creating something for your skin crafted from whole foods to feed your skin is so much fun!!
So let’s start crafting! Check out these three recipes that I have found for you to enjoy!
- Sugar Scrub Recipe
1 Cup Sugar
1/2 Cup Oil (EVOO, Coconut, Etc)
8-10 Drops of Essential Oil of Choice
Directions: Combine all ingredients in a bowl. Allow to sit for 30 minutes before using. This is preservative free, so be sure not to allow water to be intoduced into your scrub.
- Gentle Facial Mask
1 Tablespoon Ground Oatmeal
1 Teaspoon Organic Honey
1 Teaspoon Plain Yogurt
Directions: Combine all ingredients and mix well. Apply a thick coat to a clean face, with clean hands. Keep in place for 15 minutes. Rinse your face with lukewarm water, splash with cold water, pat dry. Apply light moisturizer.
- Banana Hair Mask Smoothie
1-2 Ripe Bananas
1 Teaspoon Coconut Oil
1 Teaspoon Olive Oil
1 Tablespoon Organic Honey
Directions: Blend bananas until smooth (NO chunks). Add in Coconut Oil, Olive Oil and Honey. Blend again. Slather ingredients on your hair and allow to sit for at least 5 minutes. Thoroughly rinse out.
